Outside Sales Representative - West
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team and help grow our Proven Winners liner programs throughout the western region of the United States. This fully remote position will report to the Proven Winners location in Carleton, Michigan. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify and secure new business opportunities, and promote Proven Winners products and programs through customer visits, presentations, trade shows, and ongoing outreach efforts. Working closely with brokers, distributors, and internal teams, you will help ensure excellent customer service, accurate order coordination, and successful sales growth across your territory.
This position is responsible for developing and executing a territory sales plan focused on increasing sales, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market presence throughout the western territory. Candidates should be comfortable traveling at least 40% of the time for customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and sales activities. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel required for trade shows, customer visits, peak-season activity, and other sales events. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced seasonal business environment. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to work with an industry-leading brand in the horticulture market.
